This policy explains how Dr Khan Tuition uses the details you give us when you fill in the enquiry form on this website to request a free trial lesson. It covers that form only. We've written it in plain English, and you're welcome to contact us with any questions about it.
Who we are
Dr Khan Tuition is a tuition centre at 36 High Street, Burnham, SL1 7JP. You can call us on 01753 378222. We decide how the information you send through the form is used, which makes us the data controller for it under UK data protection law.
What we collect
When you fill in the form, we ask for:
- the location where your child would like lessons (our Burnham centre)
- your child's school year group
- your name, as the parent or guardian
- your phone number
- your email address
- how you heard about us
We also record that you ticked the box agreeing to be contacted about your request.
Information about your child
We only ask for your child's year group. The form doesn't ask for your child's name, and there's no space on it for other details about your child.
Why we use your information
We use your details to:
- contact you about your request and arrange your child's free trial lesson
- know which year group your enquiry is about, so we can prepare for the trial lesson
- see how families find us, using your answer to "how did you hear about us"
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. We don't use it to send you marketing emails. The form doesn't send an automatic reply: we'll contact you ourselves by phone or email.
Our lawful basis
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), we need a lawful basis to use your information. We use your details because you've asked us to contact you about tuition for your child.
Who sees your information
Your details are seen by the people at Dr Khan Tuition who deal with enquiries. Form entries are also stored in our website's admin area and emailed to our website agency.

Form entries are stored in the admin area of our WordPress website.
How long we keep it
You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time, as explained under "Your rights".
